Winter Walk - High Dam, Rusland Heights and Yew Barrow

Meet at 11am in the High Dam car park near the Bobbin Mill (369881, pay and display). Parking is also available on the road at the entrance.
This is a 6.5 mile walk through woods to High Dam, then across open moorland via Finsthwaite Heights to Yew Barrow, with views to the Old Man, Langdales and Morecambe Bay estuary, returning via Wintering Park to Finsthwaite. This walk is likely to be wet underfoot across the moorland.
Reconvening for refreshments at The Swan, Newby Bridge.
