Meet at 10.30 at Ings on the A591 Grid reference 445988.
There is parking just beyond the Watermill Inn (LA8 9PY)
Distance 8-9 miles mainly on grassy paths with short sections of quiet minor roads. The walk encompasses 3 minor 'peaks', Grandsire, Brant Fell and School Knott, which give great views over Windermere and the Lakes.
Height gained is 1000' (309 metres) approximately.
Refreshments afterwards at the Watermill Inn.
