As it is a fair way to travel, please indicate when you book with us if you can offer or would be willing to share a lift, and from where.
If the weather is going to be snowy or misty the walk may have to be postponed.
Join us on the first walk of 2022 for an atmospheric walk on gentle grassy paths, across lonely moors dotted with Bronze Age relics visiting the Cockpit Stone Circle and other interesting remains. If visibility is good, we should get views of Cross Fell and the North Pennines, Helvellyn, Blencathra and the down the length of Ullswater. Some of the ground can be a bit wet but mostly good grassy paths.
Everyone welcome. Please let the walk leaders know to expect you.
