Winter walk - Ambleside to Loughrigg Tarn & meal at Zeffirellis

Meet at 11.00 am at Ambleside Rugby Club where there is parking and an Honesty box (NY37314 03737, postcode LA22 0LY)
The walk is about 6 miles and starts with a steady climb up Loughrigg, having a peep at Windermere before dropping down to Loughrigg Tarn for a drink and snack. Then the walk follows the path round Grasmere and Rydal Water, with great views of Helm Crag and the Fairfield Horseshoe before returning to Ambleside. Post-walk refreshments consist of a meal at Zeffirellis at 3 pm.
Please let James or Jude Downes know if you are going for a meal at Zeffirellis as they will be confirming numbers the night before.
