Saturday Activities

While we are planning a full season of activities in 2021, we will following RYA guidance in relation to Covid to keep everyone safe!
These are the Saturday activities the club usually offers:
Saturday morning: Messing about in Boats
Open to all ages. Fun sailing with safety boat cover. The aim of the sessions is to give juniors and adults a safe environment to just relax and sail We also have a beach master to help with the launch and recovery and give any advice from their experience. The club boats are available or use your own.
Messing about Racing
New for 2020 - a fun and non-pressured way to learn racing basics, which is also a great way to improve sailing skills. You can either join on your own or ask for an experienced mentor. The "Messing About Racing" will have its own trophies, including for most improved, at the end of the year.
Ladies that Launch
An opportunity for women to learn from other women, to build confidence and maybe that specific skill you always wanted to learn. Contact Julie Tomkinson for more information
Junior Training - selected Saturdays during the season.
Junior races:
These are included in the Sailing Programme. Trophies for individual junior classes will be awarded during junior series and during Regatta Week.
Afternoon races:
The single race format is attractive to our regular racers and also to juniors, families and less experienced sailors. Saturday sailing includes the season-long Eiger Trophy.
