Saturday Social Sailing
Saturday Morning "Just messing about in boats"
A friendly and informal group of club members are starting to meet at the Club on Saturday mornings from Easter to September. The aim of the sessions is to give juniors and adults a safe environment to just relax and sail around near the club with a safety boat crewed and on the water, with no racing. We also aim to have a beach master to help with the launch and recovery and with any advice from their experience. The theme of the morning is just sailing and enjoying being on the water. We hope that some times people will decide that they want to stay on for the afternoon race but there will be no pressure. The club boats are available or bring your own. The Galley will also be open so there is another place to relax on dry land for those non-sailors.
On weeks when there is scheduled junior training this will replace the normal session as we will have a more formal training session. The same goes for other open events or special occasions such as Push the Boat out.
