Chew Valley Sailing Club visit

Late in May on a fabulous sunny day, several members of Chew Valley Lake Sailing Club called in to the club for a picnic lunch. Julie Tomkinson and I made pots of tea for our very appreciative visitors. They thought our club was in an idyllic setting and were quite envious of our vast race area.

Chew Lake, at the northern edge of the Mendip Hills is the fifth largest man made lake in the UK and supplies water to Bristol. Suitable refreshed, the GP's and Wayfarers sailed off north back to their temporary home at RWSC.
