Discover Sailing day, Saturday 16th May

SWSC will be holding an open day with taster sails on Saturday, 16th May, 10am to 3pm. This is part of the RYA's Discover Sailing initiative so Save the Date!

Club members will be on site to share more information about all things sailing and our club community.

No advance booking is required. Buoyancy aids are provided for sailing and being on the jetty. We recommend wearing comfortable clothes and footwear that you don't mind getting wet. If the weather isn't very warm a windproof coat would be beneficial.

We offer adults and children aged 6 and upwards a free sailing taster session with expert guidance and safety boat cover. No experience is necessary and there are family friendly activities on the land too.

Free parking available. You can also walk/cycle via the "West Windermere Way".

• What to wear: Comfortable clothing, shoes that can get wet and a windproof jacket. Buoyancy aids will be provided.
