No barrier to learning!

Our automatic boat park barrier has been installed and is operational, providing extra security to our site and the dinghy park. Our thanks go in particular to Mike Deane and Mervyn Hallworth who designed and installed not just the gate but the system of solar energy used to power the barrier.

The barrier project has also provided an opportunity for intergenerational learning. Several juniors joined with Mike and Mervyn to learn about the security and energy system - and contributed to the design and research on the system.
