Roger Barnes of the DCA visits the club

On a rare sunny afternoon on Saturday 28th February 2026 we were honoured by a visit from Roger Barnes, the President of the Dinghy Cruising Association.

The moderate westerly winds provided perfect conditions for James Woolgrove to take Roger for a cruise in our own Wayfarer, Cassiopeia. As a boy, Roger had spent many happy family holidays sailing from Blake Holme, across the lake from us.
