History of the Waterhead Race

South Windermere Sailing Club's Waterhead race has been run annually since 1965. It was only cancelled once - in 2020 due to COVID restrictions.
Phil and Margaret Bissell prepared a fascinating look back at the history of the only sailing race going the full length of Windermere and back. All the winners, with snippets and photos from past races - from no wind to too much!
